Day 1: Part 2: Frilandsmuseet
We realised shortly that so many Danish have bicycles that they tend to tok abt distances in terms of cycling time.. when asking directions n abt how far is a place from where we r.. the usual reply is that "Oh its just 10 min away" .. !! wat they didnt say is that its 10 min by cycling.. walking takes at least twice that time!!..
On the way to Frilandsmuseet..
Nvm.. after walking for some time, we finally found the Frilandsmuseet.. its an open air musuem showcasing houses in Denmark a long time ago...
pretty boring.. unlike zannse schans in holland with ppl selling stuff n making traditional danish stuff.. but still the surroundings look pretty nice..
Checking out where to go in this big open air museum..
LL spoiling my picture!! arghh!
Flowers.. spring!!
The stable..
Hard at work..
The roofs of these houses r made of straws..
Nice house..
Chilling in the countryside..
We saw a young goat walking around.. thus we surrounded it n took a pic with it.. lukcily its mother did not attack us..
Another goat.. so scared that it will kick me..
Windmills..
More houses n huts..
Nice garden..
The interior of a more recent house but still quite old..
Muahhaaa.. JL posing by the kennel of the house.. nice pose though.. shall spread this pic thru my blog..
After this walk around this museum, Darren said to bring us to a nice place with a nice fountain.. "its only 5 min away" - he said.. (he has become Danish too.. 5 min is by cycling lah!! took much longer than 5 min to walk loh)
n this is the nice fountain he promised.. hahaha anti climax..
after this, we proceeded to have dinner.. along the way some ncie flowers..
we had some nice dinner.. then we went to have some beer.. Carlsberg comes from Denmark so its pretty famous here n cheap too..
we played some cards b4 going home... thats it for today..
