Museum, Bridge, Window Shopping, Pizza n Sleep!!

After the Cube House which we very much felt cheated, we proceeded on to our next destination on the map.. the Musuem Boijmans Van Beuningen.. took a tram from the station near the Cube House for free.. haha act blur n didnt stamp our tickets.. when we reached the Musuem, it started snowing.. arrghhh.. according to Dom, it only snows once a year in Holland.. i wonder if its just his usual crap or i m so damn suey that it snows on the very day i arrived...

Nvm.. when we reach the museum, the first thing we saw is the pink courtyard.. n we proceeded to buy the tickets at the ticketing booth in the middle of the pink courtyard.. JL recommended this museum.. it better be good.. dont feel like wasting $$ on stuff i cant appreciate.. but we r in luck, the ppl in the ticketing booth said that its free entrance today.. i tink becos they r having some functions

there r quite a lot of art pieces in the museum but the focus for the next few mths is on this surrealist artist Salvador Dali... he likes to take pics of naked women in various poses .. n most of his art r quite chim.. i dont understand as well..

For this photo shot of him n other things suspended in air, the photographers used up 60 rolls of film n abt 8 hrs.. they threw the cat across the room a number of times in the process..

The musuem is closing soon at 5pm n we were chased out.. ok loh.. we took the tram to the Erasmus bridge.. supposed to be a beautiful bridge.. but its snowing very heavily.. so nothing much to see.. but since we travel so far down to see this bridge n the next tram leaving for our next destination is not coming soon, we took some pics...

After this, we went to a shopping district near the Central Station to look for cheap dinner.. haha..

but the gers ended doing window shopping... ok loh.. gers r gers mah.. so troublesome.. n that JL n LL will be saying Wah!. H&M .. Wah! Orange , Mango n dont noe wat strange name shops.. then they will say "Wah! 70% off.. here n there" .. we came by this candy store.. selling a lot of Easter bunny chocolates..



After walking for a while, we finally found a pizza house.. selling a whole pizza for 6.25Euros... quite good lah.. but the waiters r idiotic liars.. when LL asked whether a glass of water is free.. the waiter replied that tap water in Holland cant be drank so it will be mineral water n there will be charges for that.. (which we found out that this isnt true.. Holland tap water can be drunk).. when the pizza arrived, the waiter pressed us into buying drinks.. saying that since their pizza is so cheap so have to order some drinks.. freaking idiots where got such things one.. nvm lah bought a cold chocolate drink from them for abt 1.30Euro .. the pizza is not bad though..


After Pizza, we went to a nearby convenience store, Xenos to check out prices of groceries.. turns out that their flavoring sauces r rather cheap.. n there r also some cheap alcoholic drinks.. We bought some n went out to proceed to the Old Town of Rotterdam to take some pics..

While nearing the Old Town, the rest of the group felt it might be complicated n dangerous like the Old Town in Stockholm at nite.. thus we decided to head back to our Stayokay Hostel.. Personally though, i feel that any place in the world is dangerous only if one does stupid things like travelling alone in dark alleys or flaunt their valuables around or not being aware of their own surroundings...
The gers did some more shopping at the Body Shop. LL bought some concealer to conceal haha.. better not tell... yah she bought some stuff so that she could look prettier in photos.. We took the train back to Dijkzigt, the metro station closest to our hostel.. for free as well.. since no one is checking.. haha

When we check in, its way beyond opening hours for the reception.. but luckily there was someone there to help us.. We were told we will be in a 8 bed bunk and that currently there r only the 4 of us inside.. but later in the nite, there could be ppl coming in to stay.. We collected our keys n bedsheets n proceeded to our room..

The room consists of 4 double decker beds.. the 4 of us took the beds closer to the windows so that we wont be disturbed when ppl comes in..
We felt sound asleep soon enuff since we had such a tiring day of walking.. Guess wat happens at 5am in the morning..
At 5am, the door to our room opened n a Dutch couple moved in to one of the beds.. i didnt see them but just heard them.. too lazy to get up.. initially there were some fumbling of the bedsheets.. maybe setting up the bedsheet on the bed.. but after abt 10 min, the double decker bad they were in started creaking n shaking.. then soon came sounds of moaning from the woman.. n some silent "Oh My God" "Oh My God" from the guy.. its REALLY OH MY GOD.. they r having SEX in the room.. the bed shaking got progressively heavy n the moaning got louder.. n the Oh my God's came more often.. haha n finally at 530am the moaning n creaking of the bed got incredibly loud b4 everything quietens down again followed by some soft pantings from the couple.. hahah from my description, i seem like a peeping Tom or rather eavesdropping Simon (since i didnt get to see any of the action only heard it) but its really no choice.. they r just one bed away. n they r so loud that i couldnt sleep.. i tink the 4 of us were all awakened by their activity.. haha LL is sleeping at the lower deck so she could have a good view of the action haha but her 1000 degrees eyesight impeded her from doing so.. (not that she would wanna look in the first place.. haha :p).. after their activity on bed, i heard from Dom that the ger went out to the toilet NAKED!!.. Arrghh..i didnt get to see any of it.. but Dom accoridng to him, saw the whole thing.. n he commented on how nice her breasts n figure is.. haha aiyah too bad i missed it.. then its around 6am liao.. time to get ready for breakfast n for our next stop, Amsterdam.. LL n Dom went out to use the toilet.. when they came back, Dom said that the Dutch couple r doing it in the toilet cubicle again..considering that he heard smt n he had queued outside that cubicle for too long.. haha when we have all washed up n the couple settled down in the room n had enuff of SEX.. the Dutch guy tok to us.. :P we tok abt Singapore, marijuana here n other stuff.. he even agreed to take a pic with Dom.. with the Jesus pose.. haha

bkfast is included.. its eat all u want.. they have got all types of bread.. n jam.. which we kop quite a lot of.. there was this instance when JL tried to kop some chocolate powder.. but she forgot she had opened it.. so when she tried to put it in her pocket stealthily.. everything poured OUT!!.. haha it was so funny.. dom fav comment to her would be "If u wanna be a thief, be one with brains, dont get caught".. haha

After breakfast, we proceeded to Central Station to catch our train to the Hague.. it costs only 4Euro to get there.. however we missed our train so we just hang around n took some pics while waiting for teh next train..

Stockholm has the T n J sign to mean that there is underground train here.. Rotterdam has the M to mean Metro..
