Snowboarding in Romme Alpine

Woke up at 5+ in the morning.. n off we go to our snowboarding trip in Romme Alpine..

We went to City Terminalen to take the bus to Romme Alpine.. it takes abt 3 hrs from Stockholm to there.. so thats the reason we woke up so early so that we can catch the earliest bus at 7am n reach there n have time to snowboard..
its written that there is a bus at 630am but the bus only came at 7am..

The place where we rent our snowboard equipment.. there r a lot of counters n everyone have to take a number n wait for their number to be shown on the board b4 they can get their stuff..

There is a small building that everyone leaves their stuff there.. there is no locker for your bags n shoes (anyway for skiing or snowboarding, we all have to change to special shoes equipped for that purpose).. everyone just leaves their stuff on shelves in that building n snowboards n skis r not allowed in so everyone jsut leaves theirs outside..

Ski lift.. the ski lift takes us up to a very high up place.. there seems to be no beginner slope.. the slopes r steep n gentle at times... LL mentioned that the slopes here r only abt 1/3 of the slopes she experienced in South Korea.. wah..

The pic on top is that of a ski lift at the destination.. so scary, ppl have to snowboard or ski down the slope immediately after they reach or risk being knocked by the lift..

I tink i have fallen a million times on this stupid snowboard.. its not the snowboard's fault.. its mine.. the slopes r super steep at times.. i always have a tendency to go into the woods by the side.. i tink i fell into it abt 3 times.. its a very msierable feeling.. crawling out.. a very painful experience..

Finally after struggling for abt an hour or 2.. i finally got down the slope with LL n JL.. Dom passed us by 3 times by the time we got down...

Some pics of the Romme Alpine (nice sky.. very bright sun as well.. tahts why i wore sunglasses.. they r really needed.. also when i snowboard, the cold n strong headwind will not feel good esp on the eyes n i cant close it.. so luckily i had this sunglasses)

After our first round of snowboarding for LL, JL n me..n third round for dom, we decided to have lunch at one of the cafe.. the price was pretty reasonable considering the fact of free flow of drinks n salad n dry cookies.. haha or at least we assume its free.. we jsut took.. no one stop us.. it shld be ok then.. haha dont care liao.. too hungry to care abt our face..

After this lunch, we head off for our second round.. however the last bus is leaving at 4+.. we took to the slopes at 3+.. unfortunately for me, i sort of injured my foot after falling a few more million times.. n have to walk down the rest of the slopes.. cant snowboard w/o feeling the pain.. n its a very long walk.. as a result.. i tink we missed the last bus.. when i reached the bottom, the bus was still there but after changing out of all the snowboard equipment n we r ready to go, there r NO more buses.. sob sob.. :P LL, Dom, JL.. sorry for dragging all of u into this shitty situation..

However at the carpark, there r still a lot of cars getting ready to go home.. we found a Swedish kind enuff to allow us to drive us to the nearest town, Borlange.. (the town he is staying in) in the hopes of catching a bus or train back to STockholm.. n the next post i shall elaborate on our "dont noe whetehr to cry or laugh" evening in Borlange (a town i dont tink the 4 of us will ever forget in our life from that nite onwards..)
