Day 8: Munich.. fun!! .. Warning: Graphic Images in this Post..

Alvis's friends decided to take us for a short city walk today.. we bought a group ticket for usage on the U-Bahn.. i tink is 15 euros for a group of 5 ppl tickets..

This sign means that there is a U-Bahn station below.. The public transport system of Munich is pretty much the same as that of Berlin.. the U-Bahn is like the MRT of Singapore.. n S-Bahn r trains that go father outskirts..

Old Town Hall in Munich.. At 5pm and 9pm each day, the clock at the top of the town hall will chime n the figures n statues will move abt.. there is one time when everyone saw the statues "fight".. one of the figurines actually stab at another figurine.. according to the Lonely Planet guidebook, some bronze figures will also dance abt on top of the tower ..

Beate Ushe.. according to Edgar, this chain of sex shops is named after a famous porn star.. this sex shops sell anything n everything.. haha cool..

We walked to a popular food market in Munich.. it sells all kinds of food..
Pretzels.. a typical Bavarian food.. Germany is divided into a number of regions.. Bavaria is located in Southern Germany n it includes cities such as Munich.. each region has its own unique food n customs..

Dog Food for sale or Dog Meat for sale.. i cant read German.. maybe someone could enlighten me.. i dont tink is Dog Meat.. haha the Germans will be outraged.. considering the reaction by the Ang Mohs to the Chinese eating dog meat..

We proceeded next to a beer hall.. Bavarian ppl seem to be able to drink beer for the entire day... there r beer halls with lots of tables for ppl to order beer.. we went to one to check it out..

It was super crowded with ppl.. we took some time to find an available table with enuff seating for 6 ppl..

The table we chose happened to be occupied once by a German King.. haha

The atmosphere in this beer hall is very nice n cool.. there is even a live band playing..

I ordered a Radler.. a kind of beer with some lemonadae.. cant stand the bitter taste of beer..

First sign of spring..


This patch of grassland serves a very impt function in summer.. Guess what is it? hhaa.. there is a line separating the grass patch.. the line divides the grass patch into 2 concentric circles..

Help mE!!

This notice says that "If u wanna go inside the inner circle of grass patch, u must take off yer clothes, U can keep yer clothes on at the outer circle.." In summer, this grass patch is used by hundreds of ppl to bask in the sunlight nude.. cool,, arrghh came at the wrong time.. must come back to Munich in summer next time..

After this brief nudity, we proceeded further into the park..
We came by this very Chinese-like beer garden.. a beer garden here is very much like an outdoor beer hall...

Cigarette vending machines could be found everywhere in the public..

After this, we split up with Alvis n Edgar.. we proceeded back to the city to look see.. we took a train from this rather deserted train station..
