Day 7: Lepizig, Munich: Beginnings of a Sinful Lifestyle

After we left Berlin at abt 7pm last nite, we drove straight to Lepizig.. arrived at the city centre at abt 9pm.. i had already booked a hostel somewhere near Lpeizig.. abt 40 km away.. but no deposit or anything was paid.. so we decided to try our luck looking for an hostel in the city centre so that we could save the fuel to travel all the way down to the hostel that i booked and so that we could explore this city in the morning when we wake up.. but unfortunately there is a book fair going on this few days.. as a result all the hostels n hotels in Lepizig r fully booked.. when i tried to look for hostels online a few days ago, they r already fully booked.. after hours of searching for a cheap place to stay in, we gave up n drove 40km down to Bad Lausick which took us quite some time to find.. we finally checked in at around 1am.. it costs 16.90 euro.. well.. breakfast was included so not bad lah..

After this good nite sleep, we proceeded on to Munich by car.. after like 3 hours of driving.. we decided to stretch our legs..

Finally we reached Munich.. we arranged previously to meet Dom at the Munich airport at 5pm.. n we arrived exactly at 5pm.. however turns out his flight was delayed for a few hours.. we met up with Alvis, our friend who we will be staying with in Munich.. we will be staying in his friend's place.. after settling in, we decided to walk around Munich n try some German food.. we took some pictures along the way to the city centre..

well.. SC claimed that the church moved in this picture.. thats why it was blur n the ppl(LL n me) were relatively clearer.. ermmm.. ok loh.. haha

After walking around Marianplatz.. the city centre for a while, we settled down in a restaurant.. we ordered some beer..


SC n i ordered some pork knuckles.. LL ordered some chicken meat...

The pork knuckles is a form of sin.. man.. it was so damn greasy n fatty.. i was so sick after eating it but the meat n the crispy skin is so unbelievable nice.. but its really very very sinful.. somemore i drank 0.5l of beer.. wah.. this is the most sinful meal i had in my life so far...

Berlin's U-Bahn system is pretty like that of AMsterdam.. u punch in yer ticket yerself when u travel.. us lying on the blue box where ppl r supposed to punch their tickets.. yah we were full n waiting for Dom to meet us here..
