Still snowing.. lonely walk around town on Valentine's..

Still snowing... but not as heavily liao.. its not as cold..

Today there seems to be a lot more snow...



Took the Pendeltag to Stockholm C..


Was planning to go inside a shelter part of the station to sit down.. but inside got 2 crazy drunkards.. i sat on a bench then one of them started approaching me n toking some Swedish stuff.. i have a feeling it isnt good.. better siam.. when i got out of the shelter, they went back to their drunken n wasted state..



Came out of the Central Station.. first thing I saw is the cathehedral.. n of course i go n take pic of it lah.. haha
on the way there, noticed a sealed exit of T centralen..

along the way, saw these signs..



These mean that there r ppl clearing snow on the rooftop pls keep clear or it means just be careful of falling snow from rooftop..

Snow may be fun but when a big lump of it falls from 10m, its not that fun anymore..

Hotorget market.. most fruit n flower shops r closed for obvious reason.. not becos of Valetine's Day but becos of the snow. here we see some Swedes r in the spirit of Valentine's Day..



Oh ya motive for today's outing is to check out the availability of tickets for this friday cruise to Helsinki.. its at Kungsgatan 2 on the map its looks near Hotorget but in actual fact IT ISNT!!.. its more near Ostermalmstorg.. but nvm.. after walking a long stretch finally found it..

No more cheap tickets for this weekend.. nvm 25th feb there r available cabins for 900kr (4 person cabin) so each person will come up to 225kr.. abt 50+ Sing dollars..

ok loh.. then i check with the rest see how still want or not.. then i walked to the Kungliga Bibliotek.. (King's library) Bibliotek = Library
haha saw that they r also removing snow from roof top.. one guy will be sitting on the floor keeping a lookout for ppl at the bottom.. whenever there is someone, he will blow the whistle.. then the person on top will stop..

Snow looks very white n clean but after ppl tread over it, it looks pretty disgusting with mud n water.. Eeeeeee...

It is common to find buckets of sand in number of places in Sweden.. maybe this is to help melt the snow.. i tink if i m not wrong, impurities lower melting pt so they melt faster.. haha
